Wool Craftworked

In this video, I will show you how to learn the basics of needle felting. Learn to make your unique items from non-spin wool using the dry felting technique. The felting technique involves the processing of combed non-spun wool, where the woolen threads are intertwined with each other by mechanical action, creating fabric or a solid object. That is the craft that anyone can learn. Needed tools: a few needles, some sponge/foam pad, and wool in the form of roving.

Felt needle is a perfect technique for making 3D figures, children’s toys, decorative items, fashion and clothing details/ornaments as well as home decorations.

For my needle felting gnome, I used needle felted techniques and 100% pure wool. I dye the wool myself to achieve the right colors.

The wool is natural from the fleece of animals such as sheep, goats, camels, alpacas. The row material is primarily made up of keratin-based proteins, which makes wool a remarkably elastic material. Wool is a very flexible material, characterized by strength and durability.

The softness and tenderness of wool appear as the opposite of its persistence. All-natural and environmentally friendly, wool offers a range of diverse and unique properties that have made it popular for clothing and bedding for centuries.

That wool is antiallergenic or hypoallergenic is just one of those properties that have ensured its longevity and reputation over time.

Every handmade woolen piece makes you feel surrounded by love. Make it and give it as a present to a friend or family member. Treat it with care and it will fill you with love, patience, and satisfaction.

The felting technique is a very creative and joyful process, in the end, we have an object in hand that we created ourselves. After that, you can pretty much embellish anything, your living space or yourself. Pretty & Useful!
